Re: Wireless card
Hi @all I'm planning to replace the stock miniPCI-E Wifi module with which the IntensePC miniPCI-E (half-size) slot is populated. My favorite replacement is the Sparklan WPEA-111N (AR9280) because the *nix drivers (ath9k) should support the Master mode required for build an access point. Does someon...

Re: Purchase a 4 Gigabit Ethernet FACE module
Hi
Are there any more detailed infos about the ETA of the 4 Gigabit Ethernet module for the intensePC? I'm still looking forward to this FACE module - as well as ordering the IntensePC itself:-)
Thanks in advance.

Intel VT-d
Hi to all Since I'm interested in using an Intense PC as hypervisor I'd need to get the confirmation that the BIOS supports the Intel VT-d feature. Can someone please confirm this? Re: Intel VT-x & VT-d
Thanks, kenw232 for the links. At least from a HW perspective everything is avalailable on the Intense PC with th Core i7. The other stuff is SW-hacking. I would rather use KVM for the virtualization which also supports PCI/VGA/USB-passthrough.

Re: Intel VT-x & VT-d
hi kenw232 Thanks for your reply. Can you please check it via the "advanced configuration" in the vSphere client for the Intense PC? There's a howto in this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzcWd9veVuQ&feature=player_detailpage#t=31s . Maybe you need to activate the Intel VT-d functiona...

Intel VT-x & VT-d
Hi everybody I'd like to know if the Intel Virtualization Technology VT-d and VT-x is fully supported by the chipset and Bios of the Intense PC (version with the Core i7). As far as I know, the Core i7 - CPU supports both of them (see: http://ark.intel.com/products/65713/Intel-Core-i7-3517UE-Process...

Purchase a 4 Gigabit Ethernet FACE module
Hi everyone I may will purchase a IntensePC. I'm also interested in the 4 Gigabit Ethernet FACE module (FM-4E4U). Is there a way to purchase this module instead of the 4 USB FACE Module that comes with the IntensePC? It is not listed as an option on the direct order page http://www.fit-pc.com/web/pu...
