Re: No HDD detected
I did test them. The SSD 160GB drive is actually the drive out of the laptop from work. I'm sure both drives are working correctly, buth the FitPC doesn't seem to recougnize either of them. I've tried if I could feel if the 1TB drive would spin up (simply if there's power delivered to the drive) but...

No HDD detected
My FIT-PC3 doesn't seem to recougnize any of the harddisks I've tried. pcfit-0.jpg After closer inspection I do see a red LED on the inside of the case, but I have no idea what this means. pcfit-1.jpg The drives I've tried using are: - 160GB Intel SATA SSD - 1TB Western Digital WD10TPVT SATA I've ca...

Re: How to install Windows XP from USB stick ?
I used this guide. Although it's in dutch, (Google translate might help) the screenshots will probably be enough to guide you through. If you want I can write it in english, but you'll have to be a little patient as I don't have too much time these days. http://www.pc-active.nl/besturingssystemen/20...

Re: Windows XP compatibility
Nothing can be tested as the XP installation is halted at the point where a harddisk needs to be selected. So about all other parts/components: I don't know until I can do a basic XP install.

what brand / type components used for controllers?
I'm interested to read which brand & type of components are used for the fitPC3. Only thing I can find is the GPU type, the rest is undocumented as far as I could find. It would really help me a lot if it was known, then I can search for XP drivers for those components, where XP doesn't recougnize t...

Re: Windows XP compatibility
Interested in this too. I've just created an XP bootable USB drive which works, it's just the harddisk doens't show itself to the XP install program, so I probably need a XP driver for the SATA controller.

How to enter bios?
Last week I received my fitPC3 (LP) diskless. I've added a 1TB harddisk. How do I enter the BIOS? All I see is a 'shell' ? I've (unsuccesfully) tried 'delete' and 'F1' (which work on most PC's to enter the BIOS).
