Re: fitPC3 Pro capability as Home Theater PC
Hi,
Thanks, I have used xbmc before. How does video accelleration work with the built in radeon driver? It is supported when using vlc at least, would be good to know what it's capable of.

I am also waiting for some further info. When can I expect to be able to order fully working units?
Edit: not from the first batch and with all working components

Re: BIOS speed
Hi, Thanks, yeah I know what I'm getting into :). I just don't want it to be the same as my main workstation which takes about 35 seconds to POST and initialise the raid controller and go through fixed timeout for that splashtop thing and then only about 10 seconds for the OS. Under normal condition...

Hi, The official spec can be read here: http://www.fit-pc.com/fit-pc3/docs/fit-PC3-specifications.pdf According to that, HDMI 1.4 is supported as is "full hd" resolution. The graphics card included is easily capable of decoding full resolution blue ray files with the appropriate GPU accelleration.

Consumer IR receiver
Hi, I don't have any experience with IR devices but I would like to be able to use a remote for one of my planned Fit-PC3's which will be an Linux/XBMC box. The official specifications don't mention which IR hardware will be included (current models ship completely without the IR part or it's just d...
