As I said a few months ago, I can't find the option. Do I have an old BIOS perhaps?

Kind regards,

Pieter

Re: Temperature control & monitoring temperature

bump :) Recently I have another issue: the FIT-PC produces a rattling noise when the CPU is idle. When performing activities (file search, logging into remote desktop, playing video over network) the noise is gone. As soon as the system is idle, the noise returns. Is this the noise you referred to e...

Re: Temperature control & monitoring temperature

The option is not available in the BIOS. I only have some TC options, which are on 'Automatic', except for TC Override which is on Disabled.

I put the Fit-PC3 on its side to allow proper release of the heat.

Re: Temperature control & monitoring temperature

I forgot to mention the temperatures: at boot, CPU temperature starts at 58C. After a few minutes, temperature rises to 62C. The temperature stays at 62C under full load (watching video). It still feels hot to the touch, so I was wondering what could be done to decrease the temperature.

Re: Temperature control & monitoring temperature

Hi,

Where can I set the 'Aggressive power management' ? Is that a specific fit-pc3 setting, or a general term to indicate power management policies in windows?

Kind regards,

Pieter

Temperature control & monitoring temperature

Hi, Having successfully set-up the fit-pc3 according to my wishes as a security/domotica/hometheater box (all in one fit-pc!), I noticed the fit-pc3 becoming rather hot. Regarding temperature, I have the following questions: 1) What kind of usage increases temperature of the fit-pc3? 2) Can you reco...

Re: Slow performance/video lag on Fit-PC3 LP edition

Problem solved! After doing a reinstall, I noticed the fit-pc3 lp edition was fast until I installed the official ati video drivers. In another thread, I read that Fit-PC3 requires its own video driver. Uninstalled the ATI driver and installed the official Fit-pc3 video driver and everything (includ...

It was a fresh install. I will re-install to test it again.

What BIOS settings do you recommend for DISK configuration?

Kind regards,

Pieter

Slow performance/video lag on Fit-PC3 LP edition

Hi, I cannot seem to play youtube video's (both small and fullscreen) without stutter every 3 seconds. The windows interface also hangs sometimes. Performance seems better when using remote desktop. I am running windows 7 and have installed a SSD disk in it. The shipped video driver was installed an...

USB type b port (act as mass storage device)

Hi,

I want to connect my FIT-PC3 to my car radio, using USB. The car radio accepts USB mass storage devices.

My android phone has a mini-usb slave port. Does the Fit-PC3 come with a usb slave port? Is the Fit-PC3 extendable with an USB slave port using FACE or GPIO?

Kind regards,

Pieter
