The Intense PC contains certain HW provisions for IR.
These provisions are not functional and cannot be used as an IR interface.

I believe Q4 starts in October.
At any rate, mSATA support is not yet available in stock Intense PC units.

No, sorry. Intense PC doesn't support mSATA The statement above is not entirely accurate. The current Intense PC units from the first pilot batch do not support mSATA. Please note that this is a HW limitation and it will not be fixed with a BIOS update. Units with the mSATA feature will be availabl...

Hi Jean,

although we have not tested explicitly the SATA channel connected to mSATA, it is the same controller. So the BIOS fix should apply to mSATA as well.

You're right about BIOS versioning. We intend to post BIOS version numbers and release notes.
