Re: Ubuntu 12.04 rc1 test

This may have something to do with upgrading. If I boot 12.04 from a USB drive instead, I get a desktop - however, the entire thing is still tinted yellow.

(Sometimes the tint is red instead - which makes me think it's something to do with timing in the monitor.)

Re: Ubuntu 12.04 rc1 test

You had better luck than me. I tried an upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04. But now I just get a black screen. And if I restart lightdm as suggested, it turns into a yellow screen.

Re: After install EMGD driver, the screen blanks

Having said that, I've reverted back to the default driver for now as it still doesn't work right with the Unity interface and it's unstable in the classic interface. (The screen starts to corrupt after a couple of hours and eventually the machine locks up.) It would be good to get some fixes for th...

Re: After install EMGD driver, the screen blanks

I had the same problem. To fix it I undid the last step by deleting the file: /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-emgd.conf Then I copied the xorg.conf file from the downloads section: http://www.fit-pc2.com/download/ubuntu/files/xorg.conf.emgd.default I renamed it to xorg.conf and put it in the /etc/X11 ...
