IntensePC_User,
The BIOS upgrade worked like a charm.
Thanks again.

Re: Headless/Monitorless Windows 7
Thanks for the heads-up IntensePC_User,
I never did get it to work, but I will give the BIOS update a try.

Re: Headless/Monitorless Windows 7
Thanks for the screen shot. It is the same screen that I get using several much older laptops, but with the Intense PC, it never changes. On the Intense PC, it seems that the Detect button does not trigger anything because it never turns grey or the like. I am going to test it further over the weeke...

Re: Headless/Monitorless Windows 7
Hi IntensePC_User, Congrats, but no joy in this Mudville ... http://fit-pc.com/forum/posting.php?mode=reply&f=95&t=4619# I gave your instructions a try, and no matter what I did - uninstall Intel display drivers, use Windows VGA, etc. - I never received any multi-monitor message when clicking on Det...

Re: Headless/Monitorless Windows 7
Agreed, I also see that I just need to plug in the monitor, no need to boot with monitor in place. Great, please do let me know if you have any luck with the dummy plug. Interestingly, the previous Fit-PCs ran headless so I was quite surprised when I discovered the problem so I can't see how Sorry, ...

Re: Headless/Monitorless Windows 7
Hi, I am using TightVNC at this point. What is happening is that I need to connect with TightVNC when a monitor is connected, but once this first session is initiated, I can disconnect the monitor. Even if I disconnect from TightVNC Viewer, next time, it still believes that the monitor is connected....

Headless/Monitorless Windows 7
Hi, I am setting up the Intense PC Value barebones that I recently purchased and have installed Windows 7 Home. I am planning to use it as a server so I want it to run headless. I am using TightVNC to access the Intense PC, and when a monitor is connected, even if it is off, I can remotely access an...

Re: FIT PC2 & iTunes Movies
Irad,
Thanks, OK, that makes sense. Do you know where I can learn about getting Windows Media Player or MPC HC to play iTunes downloaded movies with its DRM?
Thanks,
Greg

FIT PC2 & iTunes Movies
Hi, I bought a FIT PC2 2.0GHz in hopes of using it as a movie and video server. I have installed Windows 7 Home Premium and downloaded and installed the FIT PC2 drivers, and I am using a 27" monitor. I have set it to overclock at 12.5%. At this point, I primarily use iTunes movies, and unfortunately...
