I've done it before, tried even with a CAT6 cable but same problem. Maybe the problem is with my specific gigabit switch, but i can't try with another one for now...
Any setting in Bios maybe?? Have you got GV3 or C-State enabled??

Thanks for the answer, I tried to disable and enable again the interface but it works only sometimes. I mean I need to disable and enable again two or three times before getting it working at full gigabit speed. It's the same if I unplug and plugin again the cable.
