Re: IR device not found?
Hi There, I have a similar problem. On a clean Win7 installation I could not get the IR to function. I have followed the readme in the driver file (win7_ir_091021.zip) provided at Downloads section. However there is no IR section in Device driver or a "AVR309:USB to UART protocol converter" anywhere...

Re: Linux Mint 9 is officially supported
Hi Denis,
I confirm that changing the appearance setting has fixed the display issues. Thanks.
The wi-fi card is not detected. I know there is no HW problem since it works on my other drive which has Ubuntu.
Shall I try to install Mint from scratch?

WiFi issue in Mint
Hi Fly,
Thanks for the reply. MyFitPC is FitPC2 C1600-W. I am not sure about the version.
I do not know how to use the "rt3090-dkms from lucid ppa". I am new to Linux world. If you could give some instructions I can try it out.
Thanks,

Ethernet problem with Mint (solved)
Hi There!
I tried the same steps and the Mint installed just fine. However it did not recognize the Ethernet adapter, so I cannot get the updates.
How can I get the Ethernet to work?
I am using a Fitpc with 1.6Mhz CPU and Wi-Fi.
Thanks.

Re: Subtitles in MPlayer
Hi Dennis,
Thanks for the reply. At least I do not have to bug myself to get it to work
I guess mplayer is compiled with subtitles disabled. Do you have any plans to work on it in the near future?
Is there anyother tested video player that will provide subtitles and HD video?
Cheers.

Subtitles in MPlayer
Hi,
I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 as explained on "Installing Ubuntu 9.10" link. I could not get the mplayer subtitles to work. I have tried various mkv files with .srt subtitles. Anybody experiencing the same issue? Can you please help me out?
Thanks...
