Re: Watchdog for Windows XP now available
I found one more thing with this watchdog that I don't understand. Following situation: In BIOS I have activated the watchdog with 120s. In WinXP I've activated the watchdog.exe with 60s. Everything's okay, but: When I stop the Windows-Service called Watchdog, the watchdog.exe is stopped (does not s...

Re: only 1 GB of ram!
yeah - now it works.
I thought there's only one version for fit-PC2 BIOS, because for fit-PC2i there are 2 separate downloads: http://www.fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?t ... _ROM_Files
That's why I've missed, that there are 2 BIOS versions in the zip file.
thanks

Not resuming from sleep (solved)
I had this problem on a D2G-C2000-WH-X7: It went to sleep, as expected (Power-LED off). When I then moved the mouse, the Power LED was on again, but the screen was still black. I first installed the latest Win7 video driver I found (from 11 Oct. 2010). Which did not help. And then I also used the th...

only 1 GB of ram!
I have a fit-PC2 D2G-C2000-WH-X7 (rev. 1.4 I guess) I noticed that the OS and BIOS only show 1 GB of ram for my cpu. I have just flashed the BIOS with the newest version from 12th May 2010: http://www.fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title=BIOS_ROM_Files#12-May-2010 I am not sure, if it showed the full 2G...

watchdog and bios update
will the watchdog be automatically disabled during BIOS updates or must the user always make sure to disable it in the BIOS first?

using redo-backup and boot from SD-card
first of all, if you want to boot from SD-card you need: the correct HW-revision (>= Rev 1.4): http://fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fit-PC2_Revisions and the latest BIOS: http://fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title=BIOS_Update redo-backup is an easy backup and recovery mini OS: http://redobackup.org/...

Re: Watchdog for Windows XP now available
are there any news on this issue? I'd also like to use the watchdog as explained by ajlean. Actually, I think misunderstood somthing about the watchdog stuff - here's what I think, it should work like: in the BIOS I active the watchdog and set 255 seconds if I don't do anything else, the computer wi...
