Re: fit-PC2 - boot hangs at BIOS splash screen
Please consider to RMA your FitPC2. If your FitPC2 beyond the warranty period, you can try hard reset your BIOS. Hard resetting BIOS involves some basic tech skills, and may brick your device in a case of failure, so you should do it on your own risk I think I got a similar problem. I have two fit-...

Audio problems at FitPC2i
Hello, I'm using debian with fitPC2i for a longer period of time (~2 years). I use a simple stereo-amplifierer on audio-port. Some days ago the sound totally disappeared while hearing a music file. I just got it back, if I unmute "Surround" in alsamixer, but the sound level is much lower than before...

Re: Latest xf86 fbdev gives better performance
hm, I updated xserver-xorg-video-fbdev from 4.2 -> 4.4 (debian jessie). For me, it's not better. Scrolling and Moving windows seem to be a little bit slower than before. At all, glxgears don't work anymore? `--> glxgears Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual addition: Sorry, the debian ...

Re: Video acceleration in Linux
I gave up to get video accelerating to work. I have to use debian linux. I tried out the intel emgd-driver a couple of time ago. It was horrible (slow scrolling and it crashs frequently)

second hdd possible at fit-pc2i?
Hello, Is there a way (special adapter) to use two 2,5" harddrives at Fit-Pc2i S-ATA Port? Currently I'm using a 640GB HDD. I bought a 180GB SSD and like to use it for system-partition only. Is it possible to use a y-adapter or something similar for S-ATA (like in former time, where you could drive ...

Re: The new gma500 driver
I'm only using fbdev in xorg! I tried out proprietary drivers a couple of time ago (e.g. emgd), but all of them weren't stable enough and scrolling in x-terminals was horrible slow! But with uvesafb and the new psb_gfx (which I had to blacklist if I want to use uvesafb anymore), I cannot see any dif...

Re: The new gma500 driver
I tested the psb_gfx driver from new kernel. It works fine, but I absolutly cannot see any difference to uvesafb I'm using for years.

Re: Video modes on Debian
I've got the same problem at beginning. I solved it in this way: `--# cat /etc/modprobe.d/uvesafb.conf options uvesafb mode_option=1280x1024-16 mtrr=3 scroll=ywrap .-(/etc)---------------------------------------------------------(root@fitpc2i)- `--# cat /etc/grub.d/01_915resolution echo insmod 915re...

Re: The new gma500 driver
What means '2D-Acceleration'. I'm using fbdev about a whole year. Scrolling is smoother. I aleready tested emgd-driver at debian squeeze and psb-driver at ubuntu. With both drivers scrolling were horrible. How about that kernel driver (psb_gfx module). Is scrolling (in xterminal-windows) and drawing...
