OpenBSD 4.8 - FLASHRD - success story
I got a fit-pc2i diskless and used flashrd [1] to install OpenBSD 4.8 [2] on an USB stick. Booted this from my fit-pc2i and now using it as a router/firewall :) I thought it was possible to use the internal WiFi as a hotspot but the drivers do not support this. WiFi as client does work, just not ver...

Re: Fit-PC2i does not recognize my mini-sd card
Your fit-PC2i should be able to boot from SD. Just to make sure - check that BIOS is dated 22-Apr-2010 (on BIOS main page). My bios is dated 25-April-2010. What kind of message do you receive at boot? It says "Operating System not found" Are you certain the SD card is indeed bootable? Did you boot ...

Fit-PC2i does not recognize my mini-sd card
I bought the following mini-sd card:

I installed OpenBSD 4.7 via VMWare onto the mini-sd card, but the fit-pc2i does not boot it so it seems it does not recognize it.
I have a fit-PC2i revision 1.2.

Re: Install OS via Serial port on Fit-PC2i v1.2
As far as I know, the fit-pc cannot boot on the SD card. The Fit-PC2i v1.2 (newest revision) supports booting from SDHC according to the wiki: http://www.fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fit-PC2i_Revisions Anyway you can't install the OS directly on the fit-pc if you have neither a display nor a ke...

Fit-VGA
Hi, I received my fit-pc2i but I have no DVI-D/HDMI capable displays (yet). I wanted to order the Fit-VGA from Amazon but it only ships within US.
Is it possible to buy/order a Fit-VGA cable in Europe?

Re: Install OS via Serial port on Fit-PC2i v1.2
I bought a diskless version.. :) But maybe it's possible by using an USB stick as well. I plan to use a mini-sd card. Beware that these mini-sd cards are kinda old and replaced by microsd and sd cards. I was kinda clueless about these cards so I bought a Sandisk 4GB SD card which looks almost the ri...

Install OS via Serial port on Fit-PC2i v1.2
Just received my Fit-PC2i v1.2 by mail, nice service and delivered within the expected date listed on the website. I wanted to set it up as soon as possible, but then I noticed I do not have any DVI/HDMI capable displays at home yet :o I was wondering if one can use a USB-Serial cable to setup the O...
