Wasn't able to verify this with 'memtest86+', that is present in the Grub bootmenu, because it refuses to work and exits with an error: ' error: too small lower me...

Re: Random segfault from glibc in apt-get, perl
I have noticed random segfaults from many programs This is on a fit-pc2i from the pilot batch with Ubuntu 9.10 using the fit-pc2 kernel as per installation instruction in the wiki. For what's it's worth; i see them too. On a Fit-PC2i, rev 1.1 (pilot batch, i assume) with Ubuntu 10.04 (special kerne...

Re: No video signal on FITPC2
If this is what you have bought: http://www.fit-pc.com/web/fit-pc2/accessories/fit-vga/ then it should work. Can you describe the steps you have done? Yes, that is what i bought. I connected it to a running Fit-pc2i rev 1.1 and a monitor that I switched on after that. Nothing. Then I powercycled th...

Re: No video signal on FITPC2
This is somewhat confusing... This posting says: 'adapter' will not work, you need a 'converter'. http://fit-pc.co.uk/FitPC2/What_Else_Do_I_Need.html says the same. http://www.fit-pc.com/web/fit-pc2/accessories/ says 'adapter'. http://www.fit-pc.com/web/fit-pc2/accessories/fit-vga/ says 'converter' ...

Fit VGA converter problem
Hi, I have several DVI monitors at home, but apparently they don't support DVI-D. So, the don't work with Fit-PC2i. Hence, I decided to buy the Fit VGA Converter: http://fit-pc.co.uk/Fit_VGA_Converter--product--24.html I have several VGA monitors at home too, but guess what, the don't work either :(...

Re: Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS fit-pc2i iso for HD install
Thanks Denis, for your reply. Hi all, There are two revisions of fit-PC2i : 1.1 and 1.2. Problems with HD detection were in rev 1.1 only. :-( It seems the reseller in the Netherlands sold me a rev 1.1, according to the serial nr. - even though I bought it end of June this year. That kinda sucks... U...

Re: Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS fit-pc2i iso for HD install
Hi, I installed an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server edition on a FitPC2i rev 1.2 three months ago, from the standard Ubuntu ISO. I'm not using any specific apt repository. Do you have the 160 GB Hitatchi HD? That device was not recognized when I tried the standard 10.04 LTS Server Ubuntu .iso (the 4GB NAND-d...
