Yep, I use the system as a 24/7 server but unfortunately the AP will be used mostly for temporary "guest" access which make it hard to monitor longterm. But, I will report back if I discover any "oddities".

Hi I have installed 10.04 on my fitpc2i. As I run it as a server without an attached display i don't care about the missing graphic drivers. But i would like to install a custom kernel with the other tweaks and non supported stuff stripped. Is there a kernel configuration file i can use to recompile...

Seem like random read/write performance (http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/sh ... i=3607&p=4) is within the range of the maximum throughput of PATA, so it might not be a total waste.

I thinking of buying a fit-PC2i and a Intel X25-M G2 solid state flash disk. Will the 2i be able to make use of the performance of the disk or I'm I better of buying a cheaper/slower flash disk?
