I have the ethernet freeze problem as well on fit-pc2. 64bit software cannot run on 32 bit hardware in any way (unless emulated)
64bit hardware is backwards compatible with 32bit software though. What is why many laptops shipped with 32bit Vista instead of 64bit Vista, a couple of years back, even though they were fully capable of running a 64bit OS.

I just got my Fit-PC2 Linux with Wifi and auto-on and I noticed something at the first boot of Linux: It had the file "The.Dark.Knight.Prologue.2008.720p.Blu-ray.mkv" in the trash bin.
