Re: Ubuntu 12.04 rc1 test
i have been running ubuntu 12.04.1 on two fit-pc2s since it came out. no problems; if anything, it is the most stable it has been. [edit: except the screen resolution is wacky; but i run headless so i don't care] $ uname -a Linux yakka 3.2.0-29-generic-pae #46-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 27 17:25:43 UTC 2012...

Re: Ubuntu 12.04 rc1 test
my standard 12.04 install gives me kernel 3.2.0-24. that means in my case i need to wait until later kernel before my screen resolution will come good

Re: System clock lose
i'm astonished and confused that this debilitating defect has not been fixed for so long. i'm afraid i have to move my recommendation from "wait" to "do not purchase", disappointing for a product with such massive potential

ntp gone wild
i have two fit-PC2s side-by-side. i updated both from 8.04 to 9.10. one works fine; the other keeps having system clock crazy resets (e.g. jump forward 9min 59sec) which plays hell with my timer-driven applications on both, ntpd points to time.ubuntu.com. on the one that goes wild, i have several ti...
