my standard 12.04 install gives me kernel 3.2.0-24. that means in my case i need to wait until later kernel before my screen resolution will come good

so you're suggesting we blacklist poulsbo driver to get the higher screen resolution?

i'm astonished and confused that this debilitating defect has not been fixed for so long. i'm afraid i have to move my recommendation from "wait" to "do not purchase", disappointing for a product with such massive potential
