Re: Why can't Windows Task Scheduler wake my fit-PC2?
Well, that's great. But my FIT-PC2 reports that only Hibernate Hybrid Sleep is supported on my system: C:\Windows \System32>powercfg -a The following sleep states are available on this system: Standby ( S3 ) Hibernate Hybrid Sleep The following sleep states are not available on this system: Standby ...

Re: How Hot?
Using CPU Therm, mine runs at 36-37 while working at about a 50% load. Even stressing the CPU at 100%, I've never seen it go above 42.
I have to say that the passive cooling is very effective. If my hands are cold and I place them on top of the unit, it drops from 39 to 30 within 10-15 seconds.

Re: Task Scheduler won't wake up my Fit-PC2
Did everything you recommended, exactly as described. Even the power options -- my options were already set correctly, but I did them again, anyway.
No difference. Once it hibernates, I have to push the button to wake it up again.

Re: Task Scheduler won't wake up my Fit-PC2
Using Task Scheduler (for any of my other PCs) this is easy to do. To sleep, schedule tasks at whatever times you want. These tasks will run a command "shutdown /h" or "shutdown /s". To wake, schedule other tasks at wakeup times. These, however, will be "dummy" tasks. In other words, it isn't import...

Re: Front mini-USB ports broken (SOLVED)
Sure enough, when I connected one of the double-headed USB cables to both front ports, the external USB drive was recognized and mounted.
Kind of a funny setup with the 2.0-only on one, and the 2.0/1.1 on the other, but at least I understand it now.
Thanks for the timely info and responses.

Re: Front mini-USB ports broken
Thanks, that explains the first scenario (keyboard and mouse), but not the second. These external drives both support USB 2.0, and neither are detected.

Front mini-USB ports broken
Don't know if anyone else has this problem... I am using the two "official" USB-A to mini adapters I ordered from Amazon. When I try to boot using the two front USB ports for my keyboard and mouse, only one of the devices is detected (only the device plugged into the outside port, the port on the ri...

Re: Task Scheduler won't wake up my Fit-PC2
Thanks, Leonid. A good suggestion, but enabling sleep was the first setting I changed. The settings are correct.

Re: Why can't Windows Task Scheduler wake my fit-PC2?
Installed the August 31 BIOS this morning. As expected, it had zero effect -- I still can't wake the PC via the Task Scheduler.
Has anyone gotten this to work, ever?
