It's straight out of the box fit-PC2 linux, Ubuntu 8.04. apt-cache says xorg is version "1:7.3+10ubuntu10." Video driver is "psb."

I have a Lenovo L201p LCD monitor, 1600x1200. When booting, I see the bios screen, the grub menu, the Ubuntu splash screen fine, followed by some text messages. Soon thereafter the screen goes black and displays "Input signal out of range." I can boot in recovery mode; tried the "Fix X server" entry...
