Sorry did not mean to be critical. There is a new 3Com PoE Injector on ebay for £7.50 inc p&p.

I wonder if Sandro and HereBeMonsters have misunderstood PoE. The power is 'produced' on the ethernet cable by a PoE Router or Switch, and 'consumed' by end-devices - like the Fit-PC2 or a GigE camera. So the PC2 would not be powering the camera, both are powered by the Router or Switch.

agree that powering directly from the Ethernet Port is an obvious requirement. PoE provides 15.4 Watts at 44 - 48.5 VDC, easily enough for the PC2. If/when PoE is supported is there any chance of a DC output from the PC2 to power a TFT display, so that the whole PC becomes line-powered?
