Re: Output to Composite
How about the VGA output on the original FitPC? I still have one of those laying around. Is that easier to convert to composite video? Simpler? Sure. VGA is an analog signal like Composite, so conversion is usually much simpler (and none even needed sometimes!). However, VGA has separate signals fo...

Re: Output to Composite
This is an old post so your link is dead. I'm looking to connect my FitPC2 to a monitor with only composite input. I don't need audio, only video. There are HDMI to composite adapters such as these, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Composite-1080p-HDMI-to-RCA-Audio-Video-AV-CVBS-Adapter-Converter-for-HDTV-/...

Re: Output to Composite
Thanks much! I understand the HDMI port is actually DVI, and therefore does not contain an audio signal. I will use the Line-Out port with a 1/8" to RCA adapter for the audio. This is actually a replacement of an existing PC that is failing, so the wires for those are already in-place and out of the...

I realize the output on the fit-PC2 is only digital via DVI in an HDMI form factor. We are looking at the following item to convert the video (audio wil...

Re: Adobe Flash Player 10.1 pre-release
Beta 3 was released today, and mentions better h.264 support for GMA 500. Is this worth checking out to se if it plays 720p or 1080p flash videos?

Re: Adobe Flash Player 10.1 pre-release
I tried it on YouTube with Windows XP. All HD videos (both 720 and 1080) are maxing out the CPU. Non-flash HD videos (primarily h.264) work fine, and I am using the latest GMA driver provided on this site. HD flash videos (using 10.1) are not watchable at all. It seems like it's not even trying to u...

Re: Power over Ethernet support
Agreed. Coming from a higher education / corporate environment, PoE would be an excellent addition. It also serves as a battery backup since they are attached to battery-backed switches. We are using one as a DMP for an HDTV to monitor the network status on 1 half of the TV, with the other half bein...
