Thanks Gabriel, I will run that install and report back. I had thought that step was just necessary if I wanted to run the xmbc software. Odd that ATI didn't build video acceleration into the video driver.

Denis, After getting the LTS 8.04 distribution installed per the directions, I cannot seem to get it to boot fully off the hard-drive. After giving the splash screen, and a long wait, it dumps out at a shell prompt with the following screen messages: Starting up ... Loading, please wait... Check roo...
