Re: Question: Windows SDK to access Watchdog by user's softw

I got an answer from AMD, where they points to this url:
https://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/

It seems I have to dig deeper to figure out, which one we need for this specific use case.

Re: Question: Windows SDK to access Watchdog by user's softw

Hi Harris, Thank you for your hint. I already thought to use the gpio of fitlet with an external microcontroller which can reset the fitlet, but using the internal watchdog is much simpler. I'm still waiting for feedback from AMD, even I am not really optimistic about their response (I mean, they wi...

Question: Windows SDK to access Watchdog by user's software

Hi, I would like to ask a hint, where can I found an SDK to be able to control/trigger watchdog on 6700T from user's software? I already asked AMD about it, waiting for their response. The main problem is the watchdog driver for windows is a windows service, which will trigger the watchdog hardware....

mSata and/or minipcie card on IPC3 FMUSB3

Hi, I would like to ask do I need something to set in the BIOS to get the mSata (or minipcie card) work? I installed an mSata ssd, but it did not appear on the sata section and I cannot see the ssd when running linuxmint 19.1 from usb or m.2 ssd. The FM-USB3 is Rev. 2.2 with minipcie/msata slot. Tha...

Re: External Graphics Card - with

Hi, Quick update: Cheapest external PCIe card (miner) with M.2 M-key it uses M-key form, so, it seems it only fits into the mSata reserved slot with the standard cooling plate, the thermal pad is in its way, so, thermal pad should be removed to be able to attach to the M.2 M key slot due to the limi...

Re: External Graphics Card - with

Thanks, sure.
I already ordered some test external PCIe solutions.
For fitlet2, M.2 port version selected to keep the solution simple (m.2 ssd is in one port and the other one used for eGPU).
I keep you posted.

Re: External Graphics Card - with fitlet2/whatever

Thank you Tamir for your comment. In fact, I successfully use a minipcie 2xSata port adapter with 2x port multiplicator -> 10 x 2.5 HDD with my old IntensePC, so, I have a 10+1 storage attached. It's not a commercial solution, but a DIY and working well. I assume the external GPU also should work wi...

External Graphics Card - with

Hi, Is that possible to use external VGA card using the miniPCIE FACET card? I tested/used a miniPCIe adapter like this: https://www.banggood.com/Mini-PCI-E-Version-V8_0-EXP-GDC-Beast-Laptop-External-Independent-Video-Card-Dock-p-1011222.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN Sample config: Kijelölés_67...

Fitlet B + Linuxmint 17.1 quick test

Here is a quick Fitlet B test with Linuxmint 17.1 :
https://youtu.be/wAc1WtHLt3s

It used 4GB RAM + 30GB mSata storage.
Filesystem was btrfs with full zlib compression (I felt slow).

It was easy to install linux and get it work.
