The netbook remixed image is a regular Ubuntu 9.04 with some extra packages. Others have reported that Realtek driver works fine. I myself only compiled and loaded the module to see if the hardware answered. I haven't actually sent any packets via the wireless card as I don't need it. Look in the Ub...

Troublesome r8169 driver
The famous "NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0 (r8169): transmit timed out" is also affecting the fitpc2. I get it with a stock ubuntu 9.04 version. My workaround that works ok when connected to a 100mbit switch is to turn of TCP Segmentation Offload. That with "sudo ethtool -K eth0 tso off".

Something is broken with the recovery image. I tried for 2 days to get it working. Another issue that is even worse is that recovery image was to big for my 8gb usb stick. That's why some of you get this inode error thingy. Compiling the wireless driver from realtek doesn't work with this image eith...
