Mark, I have managed to get Windows remote running on one Fit using Windows Professional but my second Fit uses windows home editions so Windows remote won’t work on that. I have still not found a satisfactory solution to this problem. Teamview are looking at the problem. However I suspect it’s to d...

Re: Fit-PC2 running XP without a monitor attached

I have to say I don't particularly like it as a solution, however it does work' which is more than can be said for the other solutions. it's so "clunky", but until I can find a better s...

No I have not. I will try that in the morning and post results.
Having said that I have two Fit - PC2 and both are behaving the same so I doubt its a specific machine problem.

Re: Fit-PC2 running XP without a monitor attached
Irads, I have now also tried Teamviewer 4 as a method to control the Fit PC2 without a Monitor attached. This software also falls over for the same reason, namely I cannot set the default values of the GMA500 to anything other than 640*480*4bit which is simply too low to work with, even If I could g...

Re: Fit-PC2 running XP without a monitor attached
It runs fine from the command prompt which comes up with: "C:\Documents and Settings\Neil Vass\My Documents\Masters\Download Masters\GMA500_6_14_11_1009\Setup.exe" and installs correctly However if I add what I need i.e "C:\Documents and Settings\Neil Vass\My Documents\Masters\Download Masters\GMA50...

Re: Fit-PC2 running XP without a monitor attached
Thanks for the quick reply irads. I think doing this should solve my problem. I understand the syntax OK, I would have assumed you would need to run Setup via a DOS prompt to be able to enter the switches. However this doesn't seem to work. Sorry to be thick but how are you suppose to run this with ...

Fit-PC2 running XP without a monitor attached
Hi, I have just bought 2 Fit-PC2 units to run as small WEB servers. I am planning to control both machines via Anyplace Control software and not have monitors permenently connected to the PCs. This is already set up and working fine and gives me a very usable 1280 * 1024 when I remote access the uni...
