Re: Can't install
- Is your fit-pc working good with a live USB stick ? - Can you use the Ctrl-Alt-F1 shortcut keys to switch to the first console and see any message ? - Can you wait a long while to be sure the installation really hangs ? (Maybe the system is downloading and installing stuffs from Ubuntu repository ...

Re: hang on reboot - cpu_reset
Actually, for Linux users, the lastest kernels are now patched. We don't need "reboot=b" option anymore. I suspect the BIOS. Has any of the dev's reproduced this? Status? About the BIOS, the only thing Linux users have got to do is setting "Processor Full Speed" to "GV3 Only" in the BIOS. But it's f...

Re: GMA500 works great in FreeBoxv6
It used to be difficult to have Iliad/Free release the source code of other programs protected by the GPL ... If their display drivers are not released under GPL, there's no chance to benefit from them for our fit-PCs ...

Re: ubuntu 11.04

Everything's smooth and works perfectly well out of the box. N.B. I haven't installed the dedicated display driver because I don't need it but it wo...

Re: Watchdog and Processor C-States
According to Irads:
Do you really care about this lonely Watt
?
See: http://www.fit-pc2.com/forum/viewtopic. ... =GV3#p8331Disabling C-States has no effect on power when the computer is under load. It consumes about 1W more when the computer idles.

Re: Watchdog and USB auto-suspend
Hi,
What if setting "Processor Full Speed" to "GV3 Only" in the BIOS?
(I'm not a specialist at all... sorry if I'm totally out of the field).

12V DC power supply
Hello,
The 12V DC power supply delivered with fit-pc2 has no support from Compulab, has it ?
One of mines hasn't worked anymore.
Where can I buy a new 12V DC power supply for one of my fit-pc2 please (in France or Europe possibly) ?
Thank you for your help.
