Re: XMBC - Ubuntu GNU/Linux
Recently I tried XBMC on Ubuntu Lucid. Followed by instructions left here by user fly to install Ubuntu. XBMC gui performance is quite nice. Audio plays ok, but video was all in green colors until I setup XBMC option System->Video->Playback->Output to Basic (do not remember exact wording now). I tri...

Re: Fit-PC2 Optimized Ubuntu 9.10 LiveCD available
Thanks for the LiveCD. Gnome is much more responsive now then default Ubuntu 9.10 setup i tried. Experience is comparable with Win7.
Still transparency didn't work for me and 720p videos was like a slideshow.

Heatsink from Compulab
Does anybody tried heat sink Compulab advertised here http://www.fit-pc.com/web/fit-pc2/accessories/?
It states it fits to fit-pc2i, probably it should fit to regular fit-pc also?
What is temperature before installing heat sink and after?
Thanks.

Re: IR device not found?
Actually that driver crashed my PC while I installing it.
OK, I got it, it either hardware error or my Windows 7 glitches.
Thanks.

Re: IR device not found?
Here is my story. There is no IR controller item in Device Manager, however there is unknown USB device. Could it be IR? I tried to update its driver pointing Windows to IR driver but it crushed my PC while installing. Only reboot with Last Known Good Configuration helped. Where is my IR device, how...
