Re: Fitlet3
Got a Fitlet3 delivered. But it's not usable for us as is. The LAN ports use Marvall Alaska 88E1512's per the datasheet. The FADEC card uses the more common and well supported Intel I210IS. We found the LAN ports inoperative. Seems there's an FITLET3ERR005: stating it fails on multiple -nix OS's. Ou...

Re: Fitlet3
Looking at Fitlet3.... The 16GB RAM is seemingly not the issue it was with Fitlet2. The first memory storage slot is fine, M.2 2280 1TB NVMe is readily available. But the second slot M.2 SATA is another story. Given 2280 won't fit, I can not find any 1TB drives. Further Crucial reports they have dis...

Re: VGA adapters
We have tested the following VGA-out adapters & they function well for us.

FreeBSD 12.2: ssc & HSUART ports
{from my partner on this project..} The BIOS configuration to disable the SCC devices is no longer needed once one has a kernel with the scc device included. You can re-enable the three BIOS options, and the SD card will appear. I was able to read a card, but I have not tested exhaustively. To add t...

Re: VGA adapters + power
In my search, I have a question. Does the fitlet2 provide power on both Mini-Display-Port & the HDMI output ports? Given I'm driving a VGA monitor, I'm not after bleeding edge, the monitor tops out of 1024x768@60Hz. But finding an adapter that works is a bit of a snipe hunt so far. Some say they nee...

Re: Fitlet processor
You will get 8X the RAM with the upgrade.
But with Windows, that's really a starting point.

VGA adapters
I'm seeking a HDMI or DP to VGA adapter. We had several DP ones but none worked with the FitLet.
I've ordered some HDMI ones to test, but wonder if someone has already confronted & resolved this issue.

First Impressions
We got our prototype unit, inspected it, installed M.2 SSD and 8 GB RAM and FreeBSD within 30 minutes. It is an impressive piece of engineering. We installed the Transcend 512GB SATA III 6GB/S MTS430S 42 mm M.2 SSD 430S Solid State Drive TS512GMTS430S. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MSQMGLT We bought ...

Re: Remote power pushbutton
Thank you for the link. Our prototype machine arrived and we looked into this.
What we need to learn is the manufacturer's part number for the mating connector of the J8; we can't see any numbering on it.
We hope we can get it from Mouser or DigiKey; if not, other sources welcomed.

Remote power pushbutton
Hello:
I read the App note on remote power control https://fit-iot.s3.amazonaws.com/downlo ... button.pdf but wonder: How/where do I find J8?
Are there parts location drawings?
