Re: only 2 of 6 USB2.0 ports work after recovery from suspen
Hi tamir and Forum, That is all correct, except 5.1. I move the mouse to a working USB port, suspend and then neither mouse or KB are working. However it seems to depend on which USB port is used and which port the mouse is moved to etc. I can not figure out what is happening. I have recorded which ...

Re: only 2 of 6 USB2.0 ports work after recovery from suspen
Hi tamir and Forum, I have upgraded my system from Mint 19.0 to 19.3. The problem persists. However, I don't think that my initial report was accurate. 1) I loaded every USB with a thumb drive. Re: disk failure - cable problem?
Hi Tamir, thanks for that. I think that this repair is not something I can do. I bought the machine in another country at least 8 years ago. So sending it back to the supplier is not really on the cards. The Displayport output has also failed (a while ago) so I am using the hdmi. I use the machine a...

disk failure - cable problem?
Hi Forum, I had a disk failure on a fitpc3. The machine would not boot at all and I got errors like "ata1.00 device reported invalid CHS sector 0" when I got into rescue mode. I replaced the disk and installed an operating system. However, I am still getting error messages. I have looked around on s...
