Couldn't be a BIOS setting, like with most modern motherboards? With three settings:
- never power on automatically
- always power on after power has been applied
- power on automatically only if last known state was "on"
I thought such a feature was a standard thing these days...

Yes, I have the same question as hucker - power-loss restart is crucial for all kinds of always-on solution, for which a 6W box seems to be made for.
