One way would be to remove the SSD from the fitlet and use a M.2-to-USB adapter with it. The same software you use for your USB drive can be used. An update: It seems as if I have to withdraw any complaints about IRQ routing tables in the ACPI BIOS/firmware. The problems with the RTOS stem from a conceptual error from the RTOS' vendor, which has now been solved. The number of interrupts an IOAPIC can serve has been increased in newer processor...

The application itself would be quite useless, since it relies on specialized hardware it works with.
I'll work out some kind of test program to demonstrate the problems.
