Re: Mintbox Mini 2 Pro: Problems after fresh install

How to use an acronym: Power Management Integrated Chip (PMIC). errata - the MintBox Mini2 Pro (MBM2 Pro) will not go to Shutdown State 5, S(5), Shut. Down. Off unless you hold the button down. But the LED's? They're staying on. So it seems the ability to attain S(3) OR S(5) is being addressed in fu...

So I will update if it fails to reboot the next day from a Terminal command as above, or any of all the GUI options to Shutdown like it was doing last time I checked. I hope this is  helpful to the topic . :idea...

Re: BIOS setting: Windows / Linux

I posted this elsewhere, but I figure since you are forwarding this and asked for specifics, I pasted this here Poked around in BIOS trying to find out what is causing the issue and found out that setting the OS system to Linux (an option reportedly for Yocta, which I couldn't figure out how that wa...

Re: Mintbox Mini 2 Pro: Problems after fresh install

OK. I know about modern s5 state is "shut down", but the USB port is still powered. So when is a good time to unplug the external drive? I don't want power consumption of any sort when I turn off a device. I need this issue resolved so I can move on to the next issue. I want to turn the device off, ...

Re: Mintbox Mini 2 Pro: Problems after fresh install

Disabling the SD Card did not help me with the reboot issue. I prepared everything to update BIOS, but discovered that I already had that version loaded. Took it apart and pushed the BIOS reset button, I think. Seemed like it pressed. Then I reset BIOS to default settings with F4 enter, and rebooted...
